This policy explains what personal data Pawgrip collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It is written to meet the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and order contents.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your login details and order history.
  • Marketing preferences — your email address if you sign up to our list, and whether you have opened or clicked our emails.
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To fulfil your order — necessary for performance of our contract with you.
  • To provide customer service and handle returns — performance of contract, and our legitimate interest in resolving queries.
  • To keep accounting and tax records — legal obligation. We retain order records for six years.
  • To send marketing emails — your consent, or our legitimate interest where you are an existing customer buying similar products. You can unsubscribe from any email.
  • To improve the site and prevent fraud — our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, with: our ecommerce platform (Shopify); payment providers; our order fulfilment and supplier partners, who receive your name and delivery address in order to dispatch your parcel; delivery carriers; and our email marketing provider where you have subscribed. Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site and basket to work, plus analytics and, where you consent, marketing cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies through the banner on the site or in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records: six years, to meet tax and accounting obligations. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, and then a suppression record so we do not contact you again. Account data: until you ask us to delete the account.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email jccoreindustries@outlook.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
