We started with one dog who stopped coming into the kitchen

Hard floors look great and they're easy to keep clean. For a dog, they're a problem. Dogs grip, steer and brake with their claws, and a claw on laminate has nothing to bite into. Most owners notice it first as a scrabble on the corner, then a hesitation at a doorway, and eventually a dog who simply avoids certain rooms.

That's why Pawgrip makes anti-slip socks for dogs: grip socks that give a dog traction on the floors in their own home. Many of the dogs wearing them are older, and a lot of owners first find us while looking for elderly dog socks.

One product, done properly

We keep things simple so we can stand behind what we sell:

• Anti-slip grip socks for grip on hard floors, in five sizes and two tread patterns.
• A free no-stuffing squeaky toy with every order of three sets, with no filling to pull out and scatter round the house.

We try to be straight about what our products do and don't do. The socks give grip on hard floors. They are not a treatment for arthritis or any other condition, and if your dog is in pain, your vet is the right first call. No toy is indestructible, so supervise play and replace toys once they're damaged.

Who we are

Pawgrip is a small UK online retailer run by Cayden Down. There's no call centre, so emails come to a real person.
